The environment is one of the most important factors in education. Considering the characteristics and criteria of environmental design can construct new understandings and knowledge for learners. This study aims to present a theoretical strategy for creating an event-based architecture education environment using constructivist theory. The research question is what are the characteristics of appropriate architectural education spaces with event-based and constructivist education? This research is qualitative with practical consequences. The descriptive survey goal is cross-sectional in terms of time and inferential regarding logic. The indicators of constructive and event-based educational environments are identified from theoretical studies. Global experiences of constructive-learning environments have been explored. Then, Shiraz universities' graduate students, educated in the third and fourth semesters, have been selected as a sample. And the criteria of constructivism in their educational environments have were assessed with the tools of observation and questionnaire. After identifying and prioritizing the challenges, solutions were provided to create event-based learning environments. The results indicate that the lack of relationship between the educational environment and the work environment is the most important factor in the inefficiency of the university environment. Cooperation with libraries, museums, construction workshops, and urban spaces and equipping spaces for simultaneous use of city's universities, holding exhibitions, and group judging between different universities can be influential by applying constructivist theory to increase the efficiency of academic environments. Rural housing under the livelihood influence has characteristics that distinguish it from urban housing. The most significant point in contemporary architecture is the excessive use of non-renewable energies. The main reason for this is the lack of desirable design regardless of climatic conditions. Therefore, the correct utilization of local materials in rural areas such as renewable energy can improve thermal comfort conditions. One of the important issues in saving energy in rural areas is that rural settlements face additional problems, including lack of access to the gas network, fuel supply costs, fuel transportation maintenance risks, and electricity costs. In this study, the effectiveness of wall insulation in the cold climate of rural housing is investigated in Markazi province. In the meantime, according to the living conditions, the insulation of walls exposed to heat exchange should be considered a first step. Therefore, the purpose of this study, apart from optimizing external walls, is to consider thermal comfort. In this research, the principle is to examine the energy consumption of rural housing in the desired area without imposing excessive costs, with the most basic solutions. Manuscript profile

Today, we face numerous and diverse indicators in the discussion of sustainability. These indicators link sustainability to other concepts such as welfare, health, social cohesion, and they are also considered in the activities of design and planning time, construction, and operation. So, designing a sustainability assessment system for different regions of Iran is necessary and helpful to develop this country. The purpose is to show "the non-generalizability of international systems for use in different regions and climates and" the need to localize evaluation systems " and also emphasize the need to design an evaluation system according to the problems and facilities of the context, Attention to spatial capacities, modeling of traditional sustainable climate architecture as well as cold and dry climate ecological studies of Iran. This study first tries to prove the nature of these systems by analyzing the basis of production of stability assessment systems and the roots of the weighting of international, indigenous, and regional systems. Then, compile the structure and architectural elements of the hot and dry climate according to the basic stability indicators. To meet the aim, first, studying the existing evaluation systems as a case study shows that in all systems, even systems are known as international, regional coefficients are effective in weighting the indicators. Also, they are designed based on a regional context. Based on the research findings and the reviewed systems, the coefficients of headings and indicators are mainly based on regional indicators. Therefore, this system cannot be generalized to other regions, despite the claim of international design. By analyzing the findings from the Delphi technique and examining the climatic and social situation of the cold and dry climate of Iran, the proposed indicators for the cold and dry climate were introduced. 4 - Presenting a Practical Model for Designing Happy Habitable Urban Places with the Approach of Improving the Quality of Life in Tajrish District.

Today, in most developed countries, habitability is discussed as a principle in the context of sustainability. It is also argued that viability assessment can help implement new urban plans by providing a descriptive method for assessing urban environments and their quality, and varied approaches. Living quality is one of the main concepts of urban design, which has practical and theoretical importance. In this research, an attempt was made to formulate a theoretical framework to explain the concept of happiness in the environment by analyzing the scope of Tajrish and placing a policy for creating happy environments. Then, by introducing and recognizing its constituent components, a model should be presented in order to extract solutions called design policies. Therefore, after reviewing the quality indicators through selected criteria related to happiness, they have been studied in four influential dimensions. By measuring the extracted situation, the results showed that in addition to the three main stages of knowing the current situation, knowing the future ahead, the connection between the past and the future, which in urban culture is called livability, the fifth phase of analysis with three main components including, Identity, structure, and meaning have emerged that will be responsive to the policies of the four main dimensions. Space syntax is a set of methods and theories that study how the configuration structure of space, organization, and social behaviors interact. Examining the spatial layout is one of the basic strategies for evaluating the usages of any building. This issue is especially evident in historical buildings because the technique of space syntax and drawing justification diagrams makes it possible to analyze the spatial relationships of buildings. Shah Abbasi Caravanserai has long centuries history and has had different uses in different periods. This article examines the spatial arrangement of Shah Abbasi Caravanserai, located in Karaj, in the Safavid and Qajar periods by using the space syntax technique. Also, by considering the change of Shah Abbasi Caravanserai's use to a school in the Qajar period, it seeks to answer the main question: to what extent did the new use correspond to the spatial relations of Shah Abbasi Caravanserai? What are the advantages and disadvantages of changing this user? To answer this question, first, using the descriptive-analytical method and library studies and field surveys, the spatial arrangement of Shah Abbasi Caravanserai in the Safavid and Qajar periods has been studied. Then, drawing diagrams using the space syntax technique and analyzing them based on various influential factors was done. The research result was concluded through analyzing data and comparing the justification diagrams with school diagrams in the Qajar period, indicating that the new spatial arrangement of Shah Abbasi Caravanserai in the Qajar era was done as a result of changing the use to the school. Also, despite some disadvantages because of this change, including a lack of attention to proper access hierarchy, ventilation, and proportions, it is compatible with the spatial relationships of schools of that time to a large extent. 6 - Examination of the causes of the Neoclassical (Roman) Façade with Emphasis on John B. Watson's Behaviorist approach (Case study: residential buildings of the city of Shahin shahr )

The issue of façade and design of it in the architectural design process has always been of fundamental importance. Also, the facade is one of the most effective features in creating visual quality for the audience. While Facade design has continued with the least fluctuation until the last decade in the art of architecture, today we witness the emergence of facades with the name of neoclassical (Roman) in the context of Iranian cities. This type of facade uses similar elements such as columns, entrance stairs, proportion, order, and symmetry in stone materials. Neo-classical architecture has inspired government buildings in Iran, although it has less attention to the precise proportions of classical architecture and its intellectual insight. Hence, this study aims to investigate the four economic, social, aesthetic, and fashion indicators in the emergence of the neoclassical facade according to Watson's behaviorist approach. It seems that these four indicators are important according to John B. Watson's behaviorist approach to the emergence of the neoclassical facade. The research method is survey-based. In this article, first, the origin of these facades in Greek and Roman architecture also, in the Qajar and Pahlavi eras are historically analyzed. Then, according to Watson's psychological approach, each environmental stimuli is addressed through a Likert scale questionnaire, considering the statistical population in Shahin Shahr and calculating the number of households using Cochran's formula. It is concluded that the economic, aesthetic, fashion, and social indicators, respectively, in the emergence of the neoclassical facade have motivated the purchase of the buildings with these facades through analyzing and evaluating the questionnaire, using SPSS software, and the received response from the stimulus.
