1. How can I submit my article to the journal?
To submit your article, first register in the Modern Architecture Research Journal system. Then, through your user panel, upload the article file along with the required documents, including the commitment form, conflict of interest form, and authors' information.
2. What types of articles are accepted by this journal?
The Modern Architecture Research Journal accepts and publishes research articles in fields related to contemporary architecture, urban design, sustainable architecture, digital architecture, new technologies in architecture, and other topics related to architecture and urban planning. The journal emphasizes innovation, scientific coherence, and the relevance of the article's content to contemporary architectural issues.
3. Is there a fee to submit an article?
Yes. There are two payment stages for submitting and accepting articles in the journal:
🔸 Review fee: 100,000 Tomans, after initial approval and sending to review
🔸 Editing and final preparation fee: 150,000 Tomans, for accepted articles only
🔸 Card number: 6063 7370 0521 9280, in the name of Fatemieh Higher Education Institute (S), Shiraz.
It should be noted that access to and downloading of articles is free for all users and interested parties, and no fees are charged from readers for obtaining articles.
4. How long does the article review process take?
The scientific review process usually takes between 4 to 8 weeks. This duration may vary depending on the article topic and availability of expert reviewers.
5. Are review or translated articles accepted?
In addition to research articles, the Modern Architecture Research Journal also considers valuable and recent review articles for acceptance. If the review article is very new and innovative, acceptance is possible based on the reviewers' and editor-in-chief's opinions. However, purely translated articles are not subject to the review process.
6. Are accepted articles indexed in scientific databases?
Yes, your article will be indexed in reputable scientific databases including Noormags (Specialized Journals Database), ENSANI (Scientific and Cultural Anthropology and Cultural Studies Database), Magiran (Iran Scientific Information Database), CIVILICA, and Google Scholar.
7. Is it possible to edit the article after submission?
Editing is only possible before the review process begins. After the review has started, revisions can only be made in response to reviewers and through a revised version.
8. My article was rejected; can I resubmit it?
If the article is scientifically rejected, resubmission of the same version is not allowed. However, after a complete rewrite and significant scientific restructuring and title change, resubmission as a new article is possible.
9. Can reviewers use AI tools?
No. The use of artificial intelligence tools during the review process is prohibited. The review must be done entirely by human experts with scientific rigor.
10. Is the journal published in print?
No. The Modern Architecture Research Journal is published quarterly and only in electronic format. It should be noted that access to and downloading of articles is free for all users and interested parties, and no fees are charged from readers for obtaining articles.
